PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
As a Native American artist, storytelling forms the essence of my artistic expression. Growing up amidst the rich creative heritage of the American Southwest, with an Anglo silversmith father from the Navajo reservation and a Cherokee artist mother skilled in various mediums, I inherited a passion for diverse artistic pursuits. My multidisciplinary approach spans silversmithing, painting, music, cartooning, and digital art, all unified by the thread of narrative.
I thrive on helping individuals convey their stories to their audience or clientele, leveraging my platform on social media, primarily Facebook and Instagram, where I showcase and market my creations under my name, Alan Eby, and my silversmithing brand, Stormdreamer Jewelry.
Embracing a blue-collar ethos with a touch of punk rock spirit, I tackle challenges with a tenacious, problem-solving mindset, despite lacking formal education or training. My journey includes overcoming significant hurdles during the production and formatting of a children’s book project in 2023, showcasing my resilience and commitment to delivering impactful creative work.
